A timeless Saskatchewan tradition lives on! Yes, you will be able to fill your plates this fall with all the yummy classics like perogies, cabbage rolls (an absolute must in my book), and turkey. Although they may operate a bit differently this year, you can still show your support by purchasing a ticket to fill your bellies.
Communities across the province have come together to bring you the familiarity of a classic home cooked meal. Take a scenic drive to a small town on the weekend or find a Fall Supper right in your hometown. Either way, you need to add this to your weekend schedule – dinner plans solved!
Now, the real kicker – how do you find out about these events? Through the power of social media, the Saskatchewan Fall Suppers Facebook group has you covered. With over 2,000 members updating the group often, you’re sure to locate an event for your turkey craving… wherever you may be in SK!
For your convenience, we’ve listed a few locations holding a supper for Fall 2021:
1- Camp Lutherland – Located on the Qu’Appelle lakes
2- Weirdale Community Hall – 48 km Northeast of Prince Albert
3- Neudorf Community Hall – Neudorf
4- Rowletta Civic Centre – 25 minutes Northwest of Moose Jaw
5- McKenna Hall – Weyburn
6- St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church – Regina
7- Community Baptist Church – Swift Current
As with any event, make sure to check into the regulations and requirements. Some suppers require advance tickets and others are modifying to take-out only! Either way, get out there this fall and enjoy that pie.
Happy eating!
