Nova’s Favourite Nail Salon

We all have our fav businesses. Those businesses you frequent so often that the staff probably know you by name. At Directwest, we thought it’d be fun to share the employee “favs to frequent”. Who knows, maybe you’ll find your next go-to!

For Marketing Manager Nova, Pink Rose Nail Spa in Regina is a nail salon you should know about.

What makes it so special?

This out of the way shop is my go-to guilty pleasure because like an old friend it’s always there for me. I can call ahead with a bridal party emergency or walk in off the street evenings or weekends, and they always fit me in. Offering a variety of services, it’s the nails I go for. Manicure, pedicure, fancy or every day, it works. Their service is very affordable, and they have a reward program that ends up returning some free products or services every few visits. And as a nice extra touch, they usually offer me a tea during the treatment.

How did you find it?

My best friend from High School booked us in one time for our annual Girl’s Day Out. High school was a long time ago, but we try to make a point to keep in touch by getting together at least once during the year. Our birthdays are in the same month and inevitably its that month that we both realize we haven’t visited since the previous year and scramble to book something in. This was the only place she could find in the phone book that had availability, so we decided to try it. And we haven’t gone any other place since. 

Why should others visit?

Everyone should pamper themselves, but finding time is tough. I absolutely love that I can almost walk in at any time without too much planning, recline in that wonderful massage chair, close my eyes and leave my busy world of kids and work behind for an hour.  And the best bonus is Milu is right next door so you can grab a bite or a bubble tea for the road on your way out.
