Description

Hitting a gas line can be dangerous and costly. Planning ahead is the first step to ensuring a successful outdoor project. It's your responsibility to ensure you are not digging or encroaching on natural gas facilities. Request a line locate three business days prior to starting work. Never assume you remember where the line is based on a previous locate. Always expose the line by hand before using tools or equipment as underground gas lines can be as shallow as twelve inches.
